ENTERTAINMENT NEWS & GOSSIP:

E! Online columnist Ted Casablanca reported that Angel star David Boreanaz and his new wife, Jamie Bergman, who were married on Thanksgiving, are expecting a child in early May. Boreanaz's vampire character just became a father himself on The WB series.

Rutger Hauer, who played a vampire in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer film, has signed on to play the lead role in Dimension Films' sequel to Dracula 2000, Variety reported.

TELEVISION

SCI FI Gets Forsaken

The SCI FI Channel has bought the rights to air the recent vampire film The Forsaken, a spokeswoman confirmed. SCI FI will share the rights with a broadcast network to air the film on television for the first time, but Columbia Pictures hasn't signed the other network yet.

SCI FI also acquired rights to several other genre films, including The Fifth Element, Flatliners, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Starman, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, The Seventh Sign and The Bride.

The Forsaken, starring Final Destination's Kerr Smith and Brendan Fehr (TV's Roswell), grossed less than $7 million domestically when it was released in April.

Vampire Princess Miyu TV

The vampire princess goes to junior high school in a watered-down sequel to the dark original.

Review by Tasha Robinson

In 1988, a four-episode original video animation series introduced anime fans to Vampire Princess Miyu, a beautiful, immortal girl with fantastic powers, a mysterious, silent, masked companion and an otherworldly mandate to track down and deal with stray Shinma—demon creatures that prey on weak-minded humans. That original series instantly became a fan favorite for its melancholy, haunting, authentically spooky tone, which evoked Eastern ghost stories and Eastern religions equally in creating a world where there were no apparent heroes or villains, just selfish supernatural powers at war with each other on the fringes of humanity's perceptions.

FK MERCHANDISE FROM INTERTWINED

FOREVER KNIGHT FANZINES!
(all prices PLUS postage)

FOREVER, AND A KNIGHT
151 pages. Rated PG. $17.00

Short stories: "1966 Encore" by Sue Burke; six short stories by Candy Vogel; 1 novella, "A Vampire's Promise" by Candy and Cheryl; 14 vampire poems by MC Schisler; plus more poetry by Sue Burke, Anita Stone, Pristine Aericko.

PUTTING THE PIECES TOGETHER
115 pages. Rated a strong PG-13. $14
By Candy Vogel and Cheryl Schneider.

Be careful what you wish for, and *how* you wish for it! Natalie wanted to be with Nick, no matter what -- in life, in death, or even in Darkness. Now she and Nick are together, as Vampires. Can she cope with Life on the Dark Side -- the long, empty days, the even longer nights, the insistent need of blood, the urge to *kill*? Or will she be out-of-control like her brother, Richard? Story starts right where Last Knight ended; a frightful journey of Natalie's struggle with her new un-life. But is everything as it really seems? 3rd Season (Reese and Tracy put in a few brief appearances), but it's mostly a Nick and Nat -- and La Croix! -- story, with flashbacks to the 1800s, which includes Janette.

THE FIRE
106 pages. $14.
by Donna Stripling.

Someone is killing the Vampires of Toronto, and too many innocent mortals are dying in the process. First Natalie's apartment building is bombed, then the Raven, severely injuring La Croix. Suddenly, Nick finds his Loft full of hurt and hungry vampires, a dying La Croix, and a homeless Nat -- can Nick protect her from the other vampires while keeping her safe from *himself*?! Then Janette arrives with the news that the Ancient Vampire Council is coming to condemn both Nick and Nat for their attempts to cure vampirism. An exciting story with touches of humor and lots of romance. 3rd Season. Rated a Strong-PG13 for sexual content.

THE HEART HAS ITS REASONS:
1995 Fanzine novella - 68 pages. $10.
by Jamie Melody Randell.

A sequel (of sorts) to "Be My Valentine," written *before* "A More Permanent Hell." Natalie is stripped of her memories of Nick's true nature by a mysterious stranger. There is only one vampire with the power to rearrange human minds so effectively, a far more dangerous adversary than LaCroix could ever be -- the very being who made LaCroix what he is. Has she come to help Nick ... or destroy him?! PG-13, with tasteful vampire love scenes.

Forever Knight Scripts:

photocopied, double-sided (Original Scripts are always single-sided, but it saves on paper and postage to have them copied double-sided):

#307 Hearts Of Darkness.
This copy is just the script itself, dated Aug. 95. $6.

#217 Amateur Night (Aug. 94).
This is a copy of the Production Director's shooting script that was autographed by him. (And if I could read his writing, I'd tell you his name!) There are five parts to this script. There is the 58 page script. Then there is a hand-drawn sketch (8x10) of an alley for a location shoot. Then there is a 17 page Shooting Schedule, which has scene-by-scene lists for sets, props, special effects, etc. It's all hand-printed on hand-drawn charts. Next is a Graphics Breakdown Shooting Draft, hand-written on pre-printed forms (4 pages) that lists the sets, props, signs, photos, etc. needed for different scenes. Last there is a Production Shooting Schedule, the "official" typed schedule that is "subject to change" (28 pages) that lists which studio, exteriors, interiors, props, characters and extras needed, set dressing, etc. Altogether, this is 107 pages. $10.

The Forever Knight/Geraint Wyn Davies Scrapbook:
165 pages. $18.

Photocopied articles, interviews, reviews, pics (FK, Ger, Cast; Black Harbour, more). This is NOT the "Bluebook" from GWDFC!

Vampire Fanzine (not Forever Knight):

A Vampire In the Theatre
205 pages. Spiral bound. $15.
