And so on...

UKIAH, California: A group of teenagers calling themselves the Children of Death walked into the county health office asking if it was possible to get AIDS by drinking blood. The group was dressed in black from head to foot and had pale white faces. Apparently, they confessed to belonging to some form of "satanic" cult. The reports of this incident are sketchy at best - the teenagers may infact have identified themselves as Sabbat or something similar, indicating a sect of the roleplaying game rather than a cult, satanic or otherwise. But still...

CALI, Columbia: 10 adolescent boys were found dead between October 1963 and February 1964, their bodies drained of blood and dumped in vacant lots. Pathologists blamed the deaths on deliberate exsanguination, suggesting that a black-market "blood ring" was killing children and seeilng their blood for $25 per quart. Two surviving victims, a pair of 12-year-old twins, went missing for four days in December 1963; found in badly weakened condition, they described a house where they and other boys were held against their will and injected with drugs to make them sleep. What happened next is anybody's guess, however, since the house was never found and the Cali "vampire" murders remain unsolved. (SerialKillerCenter.com)
