Geraint Wyn Davies Geraint Wyn Davies (Nick Knight)

Born in Swansea, Wales, to a Welsh congregational preacher and a school teacher, Geraint was seven when he and his family moved to Canada. He graduated from Upper Canada College, after which he entered the University of Western Ontario, studying business and economics before deciding to pursue a career in acting. In 1976, Geraint made his professional stage debut in Quebec City, appearing in "The Fantasticks". He lives with his wife and two children, Galen and Pyper, in Los Angeles and is currently a regular on the cast of "Black Harbour".

Catherine Disher Catherine Disher (Natalie Lambert)

A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, she received a Gemini Award nomination for best performance in a continuing leading dramatic role following her first season as Natalie on "Forever Knight."

Disher recently appeared in NBC's movie of the week "Woman on the Run: The Lawrencia Benbenek Story," and has played numerous roles in a variety of Canadian productions including her Gemini nominated performance as Dulcie Dobbs in the award-winning CBC production of "Grand Larceny."

Other appearances include her portrayal of Lola in the drama special "Private Capital" and in "Conspiracy of Silence," both for the CBC. Catherine has also appeared as a series regular on "TNT" and "War of the Worlds," and has guest-starred on "Street Legal," "Gold," "The Campbells," "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues" and "Night Heat."

An accomplished stage performer, Catherine has performed at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in "The Nerd" and "Pride and Predjudice," at the Tarragon Theatre in "On the Verge" and "Waiting for the Parade," and at Canadian Stage in "Better Living" and "The House of Alba." And for the past year Catherine has been working on her most challenging role to date in the critically acclaimed Cedric Smith co-production entitled "Major Darcy Smith."

Catherine's film credits include Lauron Productions' "Shoot Me" and the Twentieth Century Fox production of "The Frankenstein Factor."

Nigel Bennett Nigel Bennett (Lucien LaCroix)

An accomplished theatre actor, Nigel appeared on the British stage for fifteen years before moving to Canada in 1986. During this time he starred in "The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole" at the Wyndhams Theatre in London's West End. He also performed in "Ghosts," "Private Lives" and "Rookery Nook" at such theaters as the Haymarket Theatre in Leicester, the Crucible Theatre, the Bristol Old Vic and the King's Head Theatre Club as well as many seasons on the stages of Canterbury, Newcastle, Nottingham, Plymouth, Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield in England.

Nigel's feature film work includes co-starring with Gene Hackman, Anne Archer and James B. Sikking in "Narrow Margin," the starring role in "The Outside Chance of Maximilian Glick," a poignant drama that was voted Best New Film at both the Toronto Festival of Festivals and the Vancouver International Film Festival in 1988, and an appearance in "Legends of the Fall" starring Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt.

Nigel's television credits in Great Britain include "Harry," "Happy Hunting Ground," "Elizabeth Alone," "Housewarming," "Reilly, Ace of Spies" and the marathon-running series "Coronation Street." Canadian and American television appearances include "Beyond Reality," "Sweating Bullets," "E.N.G.," "Counterstrike," "Street Legal," "Alfred Hitchcock," "Mount Royal," "Adderly," "Night Heat," "Friday the 13th" and "The Twilight Zone."

A resident of Toronto, Nigel is an avid golfer who also enjoys skiing and ice fishing when the weather turns cold.

Deborah Duchene Deborah Duchene (Janette DuCharme)

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Duchene obtained a B.A. with distinction from McGill University after a stint as a student missionary in her father's church mission. She began her college career studying economics and political science, but was seduced into the world of drama when she played her first-ever role in a university production of Stephen Sondheim's "A Funny Thing Happened to Me On the Way to the Forum."

Duchene made her feature film debut as Denise in Yves Simoneau's critically acclaimed "Perfectly Normal," and has also starred in "Press One to Connect" while she was attending Norman Jewison's Centre for Advanced Film Studies. Other film projects include appearances in Carlo Liconti's "Vita Cane" and Richard J. Lewis' soon-to-be-released "Whale Music."
On the small screen, Duchene has co-starred with Jimmy Smits in Ken Olin's movie-of-the- week, "The Broken Cord," and has made numerous guest starring appearances as the guest lead in such shows as "Poltergeist: the Legacy," "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues," "Counterstrike," "Street Legal," "ENG," "Matrix," "Top Cop," "Beyond Reality," "Secret Service" and "My Secret Identity."

Duchene's first love, however, is the theatre. She has appeared in Toronto as Monique in the Crow's Theatre presentation of "Triptych," as Lucille in the Equity Showcase production of "Danton's Death," as Betty in the Buddies in Bad Times production of "The Sound of Music," as Lucy Seward in the Playbill Productions presentation of "Dracula" and as Agnes in the Village Playhouse production of "Agnes of God."

Deborah currently lives in Toronto and describes herself as a perpetual student and rollerblading novice who is also an avid music lover and aspiring writer.

John Kapelos John Kapelos (Donald Schanke)

An accomplished stage actor, Kapelos left his home in London, Ontario at the age of 22 to begin his career as a member of Chicago's famed Second City comedy troupe. He appeared in six revues from 1978 to 1984, honing his writing and improvisational skills, before moving to New York to star in Off-Broadway's Village Gate. He then returned to the Windy City when he co-starred in "Vicious" at the Steppenwolf Theatre.

John made his feature film debut as the "greasy bohunk" in John Hughes' "Sixteen Candles." He has since appeared in 21 films in the past 12 years, including featured roles in "The Breakfast Club," "Roxanne" with Steve Martin, "Nothing in Common" with Tom Hanks, "The Boost" with James Woods, "Internal Affairs" with Richard Gere and "The Shadow" with Alec Baldwin.

On television, John has starred in the NBC pilot "Monterey Jack," which he co-wrote and co-created. He has also appeared in the ABC miniseries "Onassis" and the CBS miniseries "And The Sea Will Tell," in addition to the CBC/NBC co-production "Deadly Betrayal: The Bruce Curtis Story," which won six Canadian Gemini Awards including Best Picture. His episodic television work has included guest-starring roles on "Seinfeld," "The Second Half," "L.A. Law," "Quantum Leap," "Shannon's Deal," "Murder She Wrote," "Matlock" and "Miami Vice."

An accomplished writer, John has received a Chicago Emmy and three Clio awards. He is currently working on several screenplays and a musical stage show called "Syd The KARAOKE Kid," in addition to writing and directing an episode of "Forever Knight."

Lisa Ryder Lisa Ryder (Tracy Vetter)

A 1992 graduate of the University of Toronto Drama program, Lisa Ryder is one of Canada's fastest rising stars. In addition to her drama degree, Ryder has studied ballet at the Edmonton School of Ballet, and jazz dance at Toronto's Metro Movement and the Improv at Second City.

Already an accomplished stage actress, she has appeared in numerous productions including "Sleepers Awake!" at Theatre Centre East and "Trembling Tongues"for the Toronto Fringe. In addition, she has co-written, choreographed and appeared in "Cafe Naked," "Painting Of The Victors" and her one-woman show at the Rhubarb Festival, "Put Me Away."

On television, Ryder has been seen as Alana in "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues" (episode - 'Magic Trick'), as Angela Mosler in the '94-'95 (second) season of "Forever Knight" (episode - 'Beyond The Law' 39K), then returned full-time in the third season as Nick's new partner, Detective Tracy Vetter (15K). Currently, Ryder is a main cast member on the new Roddenbury series, "Andromeda". Recently Lisa Ryder appeared in a season of the CBC drama "Newsroom." She also played the leading role of Kim in Bruno Pacheco's film "City of Dark" (now available for purchase on video), and Gene Roddenbury's "Earth: The Final Conflict" as Boone's wife.

Ben Bass Ben Bass (Javier Vachon)

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Bass studied acting at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where he appeared in numerous stage productions including "Hamlet," "Othello," "Comedy of Errors," "The Provoked Wife" and "King Lear." He has also trained with Ecole Jacques Lacoq in Paris, The Vancouver Academy of Music and Second City.

Bass settled in Toronto in 1987, beginning his professional acting career with an appearance in the hit television series "Airwolf." He then went on to appear in "21 Jump Street," "Bordertown," "No More Mr. Fall Guy," "Friends to the End," "Andrea Martin: Together Again" and "Street Legal." Bass earned a nomination for the Vancouver Jesse Award for Outstanding Support Performance in a Musical, for his performance as Tim in the Vancouver Arts Club Theatre production of "Angry Housewives."
